2009 Miamisburg American Legion
Post 165 10U Tryouts
The Miamisburg American Legion Post 165 will be holding tryouts for their 2009 10U select baseball team on Monday, July 14, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Monday, July 21, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Location of tryouts are Miamisburg Rice Fields and will be held on Field D.  Anyone trying out is encouraged to attend both tryout dates and should arrive 15 minutes early.  This is an open tryout and boys from anywhere in the Greater Dayton and Middletown area are welcome.  Anyone trying out for the team cannot celebrate their 11th birthday prior to May 01, 2009.  Should you have any question please contact Head Coach Kevin Meyers at (937) 231-0621.

9U Team Places 2nd at the MWOL USSSA World Series Qualifying Tournament
The weekend of April 25-27, the Post 165 9U division team took 2nd place in the MWOL USSSA World Series Qualifying Tournament. The team has participated in two tournaments so far in the 2008 season, coming away with two second place finishes.
